Volunteer with Us

Volunteers are vital part of the work we do at Royston Museum. They care for the Collection, conduct research, welcome visitors, support events and help with the maintenance and upkeep of the building.

Our volunteers are crucial to the museum. Our volunteering roles will support the museum’s programme of activities, whilst offering the chance to learn skills, gain experience and meet new people.

What we can offer

  • A friendly and supportive environment.

  • Training opportunities through attending external courses and receiving in-house training relevant to your role

  • Volunteers get-togethers and thank you events

  • Flexibility. You can volunteer at a time to suit you and in a role which suits your expertise

  • Opportunities to share your views and provide suggestions.

  • An opportunity  to give back to the community

  • Valuable experience at an accredited museum for your career development
