Photography and filming

We believe that you should be able to take photographs during your visit; to remember your day, to share memories with friends and to aid your research. Full details can be found in our Visitor Photography Policy.

Accessibility

Museums should be welcoming, accessible spaces for everyone. Please visit our Accessibility page for full details.

Accessible toilet and baby change

We have an accessible toilet with baby change to the left of the welcome desk. There are spare nappies and sanitary products in case you are caught short, plus a step and toilet seat for our younger visitors.
Unfourtunatly there is not a changing places toilet in Royston.

Baby feeding

Breastfeeding and bottle feeding are welcome anywhere in the Museum. If you would like somewhere private, a comfy chair or glass of water please ask us. We also have a small kitchen where we can warm bottles for you.

Buggy access

Buggies are welcome on the ground floor of the Museum. Buggies can be parked near to the welcome desk. For busier activities and events we will aim to provide covered buggy parking in the courtyard.

Kids activities

We want museums to be fun and engaging places for all ages. Corvis the Crow is waiting to welcome you to the Museum with lots of activities for children to enjoy, just look out for the turquoise hands. Head to our What's On page to discover what events we have coming up.

Picnic Space

We don't have a cafe at the Museum. However, you're welcome to enjoy a picnic outside in our courtyard, or upstairs in our Community Room. Please note: unfourtunatly we don't have step free access to the Community Room.
